Slut Walk

THOUSANDS of scantily-clad women will join Britain’s first Slut Walk to demand the right to dress up like Jordan without fear of being pestered or assaulted.

More than 5,000 have already signed up for next month’s march.

The demo is part of a growing international movement that started in Canada after police officer Michael Sanguinetti said women should avoid "dressing like sluts"in order not to be raped.

Britain’s first Slut Walk will start at London’s Trafalgar Square.

Organiser Anastasia Richardson, 17, said: "Some people will choose to dress in lingerie but people can come in whatever makes them feel comfortable.

"Anyone can get called a slut no matter how they are dressed, no matter how they are acting. It’s just used to victimise and demean them."

More than 3,000 women have already marched in Toronto, with 2,000 protesting in Boston.

The furious protesters wore T-shirts and carried placards stating: "It’s my hot body, I do what I want," and "A dress is not a yes."
